Test-Optional Policies:
Many colleges and universities are continuing with test-optional policies. Please double check with your chosen colleges for more specific information about how this will affect your application process.
Paying for the SAT and ACT:
Payment information for the SAT and ACT is available on the sites where you register for the tests. Qualifying students can receive up to 2 SAT fee waivers and 2 ACT fee waivers during their high school matriculation. For a fee waiver, please see your Counselor.

Preparing for the SAT and ACT
It is recommended to take the SAT/ACT your junior year and continuing to take them in your senior year if you would like to improve your scores. Take the ACT or SAT at least twice so that colleges can "superscore" you (take the highest scores from each section).
The College Board has great resources for preparing for the SAT, including questions of the day sent straight to your phone and practice tests. Check out http://sat.collegeboard.org/practice to help you get the highest score you can.
